Are We Having Fun Yet?

Wow! I can not believe this year is almost gone.  It's been a very bumpy ride.  Dealing with small business owners on a daily basis helps me keep my finger on the pulse of America.  They've all been crying this year and hoping for some relief following the elections.  I've been crying with them.  We have had one of the hardest years ever in our business.  Unfortunately, we did not get relief, just more of the same.  I can not believe there are still so many liberals supporting Obama.  It's shocking how gullible people can be.  I don't know if we can take four more years of Obama but it looks like we're going to find out.
I pray we survive and even thrive in spite of the current regime.  One thing I know for sure. God is in charge.  Taking our country down the toilet may be exactly what we need for Jesus to come back and take believers out of here.  If that's what happens then hallelujah! I'm ready, what about you?

Busy is in the eye of the beholder!

Sometimes I get a little annoyed with customers that think their "big order" of < than $100 should get bumped ahead of the $25,000 order that I have got to get out! I'm sure it's a big deal for you because things have been kind of slow & you're thrilled to have a "contract" that requires 2 pieces of foam per week but I hope you don't really think your business alone could keep me going. Come on man, get a grip!

Week 1 2012 So Blessed!

I had a great week! I got to keep my precious granddaughter for four days & we had so much fun.  She is so beautiful, smart & funny.  She loved playing with the cat, although he wasn't quite as thrilled.  She made piles of shredded paper in the office floor and he loved running & jumping in the piles then sliding across the floor.  She has quite an imagination and says the most amazing things.  She has an extensive vocabulary & understands things far beyond her four years.  She does NOT like to brush her long, curly hair, her teeth or to take a shower other than that she is quite agreeable and happy.  Very proud of my son for the love and patience he has with her.  He's a totally devoted daddy and they are so in love with each other.
I also got the keep Winston.  He's a long haired dachsund, he's very sweet but barks all the time which made things seem quite chaotic.  If he started barking then Sugar, my mini schnauzer, started barking & vice versa.  If he walked by the cat, the cat hissed, Winston started barking & chasing him then Sugar started barking & chasing Winston.  Uggg!

All in all it was fun & I'm glad I had the opportunity to make some cherished family memories!
